Born and raised in Northern California, I attended college at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, and graduated with a BS in Psychology. While in college, although I was a Psychology major, I honed in on my communication skills, knowing that communication is pivotal to one’s success.
I started my career as a Flight Attendant with American Airlines. I had the opportunity to meet many people of various backgrounds who had different ideas, religions, and socioeconomic levels. Through my many travels, I learned that I enjoy the service aspect of my job. My philosophy has been that you can show people you care through acts of service.
After 9/11, I decided to change my career path to support my family’s needs. I entered into the field of Real Estate with a servant’s heart to help first-time homebuyers pursue their dreams of homeownership. I have found satisfaction in selling real estate because it brings me great joy when I hand over keys to a new homeowner; the happiness they radiate brings me a sense of accomplishment. I know that the value I bring to those families will directly impact their financial future.
The educational aspect of becoming a homebuyer is the entry point to building generational wealth. This knowledge is why I lead a women’s group called The Real Estate Divas (aka “RED”). I teach and train over 500 women of color how to build wealth through investing in Real Estate by focusing on the importance of managing and leveraging credit as a tool to create financial freedom.
Over the last 25 years, I’ve built a portfolio of over 100 properties and have helped thousands of Bay Area residents to buy, sell, and invest in real estate. My work has led to many awards and recognitions from several Realtor associations. I’m an active member of the Solano Black Chamber of Commerce, where I get the opportunity to offer my expertise in Real Estate Investing.
Some of my other fun facts are: I am a mom of two of the most beautiful twins, I have two poodles, I am the daughter of amazing parents, and a loving wife of an excellent husband. I’m an active member in my church, serving on many ministries.
