Marc J Luby, Certified Mortgage Banker since 2007, is a second generation Mortgage Banker and has nearly 30 years of experience in originating and underwriting residential loan applications.

Following his father, Roger Luby into the industry in 1993 by opening the original Nexus Funding in Newport Beach CA.åÊ This successful venture was founded on the basis of educating the borrowers to provide them with the best options available for their particular, individual financing needs to assist with, in most instances, the largest purchases a borrower will make.

Moving to Arizona in 1997 to be nearer to his wife’s Native American roots, he built a solid reputation in the industry by opening and building a number successful retail branch offices originating nearly $2Billion in overall loan funding.åÊ In 2003, he moved to Las Vegas to work more closely with national builders in a management capacity.åÊ Returning to Phoenix in 2008, following the real estate market free fall, he focused on helping those negatively impacted through underwriting refinance loans.

With the current lending climate evolving, Marc has returned to his original purpose of helping educate the next generation of borrowers understand the intricacies of the lending industry and remove the mysteries and confusion inherent to most financing.

Nexus Funding was a wholesale company in the 1990’s put together by many that are joining this operation over the next few months. Myself, Arthur L. Basile was the Executive Vice President and Marc Luby who was the wholesale manager (and our new Arizona RVP) was just among many that built the original Nexus Funding name.

Roger Luby (Marc’s Dad) and my mentor was the owner of the Nexus Funding. We have decided to bring this name back as it had an impeccable reputation for Great Pricing, Customer Service and closing on time. We are doing this as a dedication to late Roger Luby for all that he has taught us about mortgage banking.
